The more on the sofa, the merrier

How to fit everyone on the new hub of the home

If you asked most where they spend majority of their time at home, the answer would be the sofa or the bed. The sofa has evolved a huge amount over the years as we’ve written about in the past. It’s not easy to predict the future, but one thing we can be relatively certain of is that sofas are going to get bigger. At the moment, it can still be a struggle for large families to find one large enough. But it doesn’t have to be a struggle. Manufacturers like Willow & Hall are now creating large seats big enough for even the biggest families to relax comfortably on.

As well as providing the usual 3, 3.5 and 4 seaters, Willow & Hall create a good option of 7 and even 8-seaters. The Bisford sof, for example, easily fits 8 people. (It’s practically two full sized sofas joined together.) Finally putting an end to the arguments of who sits next to who. It can also come as a sofa bed, in case the bed quota needs a little refilling as well.

But what we really love is that they offer modular units that link together! Meaning you can create any size sofa or sofa bed you need. How about a circular sofa space for community areas? Flexibility like this is essential for our growing and evolving family spaces.
