Franke launches its new Krios tap

Metal is not just popular, it’s reaching the heights of super-stardom. Metallic taps aren’t what they used to be – and that’s a good thing. They don’t have to be boring old chrome, that silver sheen shining up at you. Franke are one of the manufacturers trying to make the world of taps a more interesting one.

Brass is big. The metal seems to be an oxymoron, both warm toned and cool textured. This home recently refurbished Chilselhurst is a great example of how to properly implement little brass touches all over the home. The effect is one of breath-taking urban style.

Franke’s taps are also available in Smokey Mirror furnishes, for those that want to explore further than the usual chrome. These little twists contrast well with the classic, elegant swan neck design which oozes timeless style. Tap necks like this tend to have a ‘champagne-like’ flow of water. If you’re looking for a small accessory to help warm up an overly cold-feeling kitchen, or to match a brass theme you're already working on, this is the piece to fit.
