Get the look: Gems of the medina

Bring the medina into your living room

Designers at Pooky have just released a new range of lampshade influenced by the North African landscape. Earthy pinks and browns are combined with bronze and gold frames. Whilst warm orange and yellows are emphasised with blue and whites.

“Don’t be afraid to opt for clashing prints”, says Pooky.

The shaft of the lights have all been artistically chosen to complement the colour of the lampshade. They vary from minimalist and chic for a more understated classic look.

If you’re looking for something a little more adventurous some shafts are a multi-lined orbs, translucent orange blobs, and even a circular ball of unfurling leaves. There’s one hanging light that has been added to the range, and it’s of a markedly different style – the silver perforated droplet.

All of these lamps have been designed to make a statement of some kind, whether it be colour or shape. This means they’ll fit well into any décor style.
