Bring the gym a little closer to home

The new bathroom from Scavolini will have you working up a sweat

Wellness is on everyone’s mind at the moment, but it can be hard to find time to be active in a busy schedule. This in consideration, Scavolini has got together with Italian architect Mattia Pareschi to provide some solutions to this modern conundrum. Pareschi has blended key features of the bathroom with key features in the gym and created ‘Gym Space’.

The central feature is the customisable frame which has been carefully designed to look minimal, but it’s actually jam-packed with usability. On it you can attach a choice of strength training equipment from a weight bench and pull-up bar to TRX bands. Once you’ve worked up a sweat the frame is customised with a range of bathroom basics: vanity unit, lights, soap dish, shelves, storage elements and mirrors.

You can opt for a sleek steel look on the bars, or a softer style in Blond wood. There are also a good range of colour options of cabinet doors, either a bold Blu Moon matt lacquer or a subtler Mineral Green glossy lacquer. If you’ve been wishing you could bring the gym a little closer to home, this might be just the bathroom update you need.
