Browse 1,000s of inspiring ideas for your bedroom redesign
With Valentine's Day a matter of weeks away (three, to be precise), there seems no better time to consider some new accessories for your bedroom - and they don't come much newer than the beautiful new Very collection by Michelle Keegan.
The Our Girl star has partnered with the online retailer to present a pink-infused collection of decadent homeware, ranging from a statement lampshade to a beautiful retro-esque drinks cart, RRP £149. (Also - how glorious is that fringed floor lamp?)
Inspired by retro glamour and 1920s Hollywood - as well as Michelle's own travels - the rose-heavy range also features cool pops of mint green and metallic twists of brass and warm copper.
The American Rose collection is Michelle's second range for Very. Prices start at £19.99 for the 'Flapper' cushion; some items are available to shop now, with new items being added throughout the spring.

What is your philosophy for designing for the home? Any pearls of wisdom you would like to share?
I pull together a colour palette before I even think about the design of each item. This collection has lots of pink, gold and brass as well as a soft mint accent. I’m a texture fiend so then add fabric ideas. I’ve introduced fringing, suedette, reflective gold, muted brass as well as pearlised items. I often work on Pinterest which is a great place to start to create virtual moodboards! Once I have an idea of colours, prints, and textures I start pulling together designs for each item.
What would your advice be to someone who is looking for an easy way to update their home?
Cushions, table lamps and throws are my go to items when I’m updating my home and make a big impact with little effort. Lighting can transform a room and as I said, just adding a mirror can make a room feel bigger.
What makes the perfect bed?
I think the main thing about a perfect bed is that it needs to be comfy and somewhere I can really relax at the end of a busy day.
Finally! What’s your favourite room in the house and why?
I’d say my favourite room is my dining room as it reminds me of being with friends and family, all sitting round the table sharing food and catching up. As we all lead busy lives, it is really special to do that when we can.
