1. Perfectly contained Limited to a corner of this open-plan space, this kitchen cleverly doubles up as a dining area, with the exterior side of the island allowing it to multi-task as a breakfast bar.
The coving-style micro-arch neatly splits the cooking area from the dining zone; with subtle built-in lighting discretely illuminating and lifting the whole space.
3. Island appeal Granted, this kitchen doesn't exactly match the traditional definition of 'small'. However, if we look at the actual size of the cook-space itself, it's definitely on the more petit side.
A smart use of colour and material (for example, the grey marble that leads from the splashback to the island top) helps zone the cooking and dining areas perfectly.
