1. Perfectly contained
Limited to a corner of this open-plan space, this kitchen cleverly doubles up as a dining area, with the exterior side of the island allowing it to multi-task as a breakfast bar.

4. Everything in its place
U-shaped cabinetry and a multitude of natural light sources keep this smaller kitchen looking fresh, with window-framing shelving helping to max the space available.

5. Mirror image
A reflective splashback at the end of this kitchen helps to create the illusion of more room.

A mix of heights (for example, the shelving and that elevated clock) creates the illusion of a higher ceiling, once more helping to max the appearance of space.

6. Open-plan appeal
A relaxed colour palette of white, warm wood and sky blue combine to keep this smaller kitchen looking on-point.
